GenSend Canada

Halifax, Nova Scotia

#CD-02 | 2 Students | May 28 - July 9

Spend your summer living with kingdom intention in Halifax! GenSend offers a practical blend of missional learning and serving alongside a church plant in an urban context. Join a team of students as you live together in community and figure out how to engage the city and make disciples together. We’re looking for disciple-makers who are emotionally mature, self-aware, and rooted in their identity in Christ. We need creative collaborators and self-starters who value diversity. We want humble learners who are willing to think outside of previous experiences in efforts to contextualize the gospel in an ethnically and socio-economically diverse city. Students who thrive as GenSenders are intentionally relational with their team and in the city, highly flexible, and comfortable building bridges to gospel conversations and meeting needs in the city. GenSend is looking for students who are ready to put their “yes” on the table, exploring their call to church planting. Preference given to students who are a part of Southern Baptist churches involved in church planting.
