The Living Valley Church Replanting Internship exists to help students understand, grow, and become confident in their ministry calling while also gaining an understanding of church replanting. We are a church replant that became established in 2025. Our leadership left Mississippi in 2022 to learn about ministry and replanting on the West Coast, and God put Yreka, CA and rural ministry in the West on our hearts. Yreka is in very Northern California, close to the Oregon border. It is the county seat of Siskiyou County with about 9,000 people. It is the center of activity in our area surrounded by mountains, rivers, and fields. During your time with us, you will learn from a NAMB planter about rural ministry, replanting dying churches, and what it is like to leave your context and serve elsewhere. You will serve in all areas of ministry, including preaching and teaching, kids’ ministry, community outreach, and partnership development with our various visiting mission teams. We will also make it our goal to encourage, support, and help you grow in all areas of ministry.
