Missions Internship: Himalayan Summer

South Asia

#Himalayan Summer | 4 Students | May 14 – July 2

$2600 + Airfare & Insurance

Come participate in a missions internship to learn alongside some of the best practitioners in the world. You will begin this journey with practical orientation and training and will be given reading assignments to grow your practical knowledge of the task and sharpen the tools in your tool belt as you engage in this work. You will have on-the-ground opportunities to see what church planting looks like taking an area from zero believers or understanding of who Jesus is, toward belief, baptism, church formation, church planting and discipleship, all the way through to sending and multiplying disciples and churches. You will be mentored along the way and have the regular and valuable input of leadership who will challenge you in your own understanding of missiology. You will leave South Asia with practical on-the-ground experience in each part of the core missionary task. Come join us in engaging lostness and reaching those who have never heard before! Students on this project are required to attend Omega training in the Jackson metro area from May 14-17, 2027.  Omega is a discipleship experience led by the Mobilization Team of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. It is designed to equip and mobilize college students for the sake of the gospel through an intensive training. Omega interns will have highly trained mentors to disciple them in service, evangelism, teaching, and leadership in order to explore the Word and engage the world.
