Omega is an 8-week discipleship experience designed to equip and mobilize college students for the sake of the gospel through an intensive 2-week training and an extended field ministry of 40 days in Scotland. Omega interns will have highly trained mentors to disciple them in service, evangelism, teaching, and leadership in order to explore the Word and engage the world. Interns will serve in a wide variety of ministry and service activities with revitalized churches focused on local people (the least of these) in the schemes (housing projects). Church planting efforts will be through holiday clubs (like VBS), craft corners, coffee connections, and other community outreach. The actual trip cost is $7,000 which includes training, visa, overseas airfare, insurance, housing, transportation, and most meals. Colonial Heights Baptist church makes $2,500 scholarships available for their Omega participants. Therefore, students will only be responsible for $4,500, travel to/from Jackson, and incidentals.  

*Note: This is a direct partnership with Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, MS (CHBC), and not an IMB assignment.
