Omega: West Asia Community Outreach

West ASia

#Omega-WA | 2 Male & 2 Female | May 22 – July 19

$4500

Omega is an 8-week discipleship experience designed to equip and mobilize college students for the sake of the gospel through an intensive 2-week training and an extended field ministry of 40 days in West Asia. Omega interns will have highly trained mentors to disciple them in service, evangelism, teaching, and leadership in order to explore the Word and engage the world. Interns will serve in a wide variety of ministry and service activities with established churches and help launch new church planting efforts via kids’ clubs (like VBS) and other community outreach. Primary work will be in the capital city but there will be opportunities to venture to more rural areas to engage unreached people groups. Come ready to learn the language and culture as you are discipled. The actual trip cost is $7,000 which includes training, visa, overseas airfare, insurance, housing, transportation, and most meals. Colonial Heights Baptist church makes $2,500 scholarships available for their Omega participants. Therefore, students will only be responsible for $4,500, travel to/from Jackson, and incidentals.

*Note: This is a direct partnership with Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, MS (CHBC), and not an IMB assignment.

**Not eligible for BSU State Mission Fund scholarships
